Short Thread
What is Short Thread?
Short thread is a treatment where needles fitted with threads thinner than hair are inserted beneath the skin, leaving only the threads under the skin when the needles are removed.
Because absorbable threads are used, they do not remain as foreign objects in the body. In addition to tightening the jawline and the area around the mouth, the stimulation to subcutaneous tissue from thread insertion promotes collagen production, improved skin quality, enhanced skin firmness, sagging improvement, and sagging prevention. The PDO threads used are a material widely used in medical applications and are highly regarded for their safety within the body.
The threads are completely absorbed by the body within approximately 6 to 8 months after insertion, allowing you to enjoy lasting cosmetic benefits through a natural process without placing a burden on the body.
For this reason, downtime is very short, and being able to return to your busy daily life quickly is one of its great advantages.

How Short Threads Work
At first glance, the shopping lift using ultra-fine threads may seem too weak to provide a lifting effect. However, as mentioned above, embedding the threads in a mesh-like pattern is the key to preventing sagging. One of the causes of sagging is the drooping of fat.
As collagen decreases with age, soft fat cannot resist gravity and begins to droop downward, appearing as puffiness beside the mouth and looseness along the jawline. Imagine replacing fat with freshly pounded mochi (rice cake). When you pinch and lift mochi, it stretches and droops downward, but if there were a wire mesh inside the mochi, it would catch on the mesh and droop much more slowly.
In other words, although the shopping lift uses absorbable threads rather than wire mesh, embedding threads in a mesh-like pattern reinforces the skin's support structure. Fat drooping will continue to accelerate if left untreated.
For those who are concerned about sagging but hesitant to undergo treatment, starting with a shopping lift for early sagging prevention is recommended.

Treatment Details
| Results | Results vary depending on skin condition, but the tightening effect generally lasts approximately 6 months. However, the stimulation from the threads promotes collagen production and improved skin firmness, so skin quality improvement can be expected. While it varies depending on the number of threads inserted per session, receiving treatments once every 6 to 9 months is said to help maintain results. |
