Juvelook
What is Juvelook?
Juvelook is an injectable treatment with PDLA (Poly-DL-lactic acid) as its main ingredient. Originating from South Korea, it is used worldwide, particularly across Europe and Asia, and is an extremely popular skin booster.
Juvelook (PDLA) is scientifically processed from starch extracts derived from corn, potatoes, and sugarcane, making it a formulation with excellent biocompatibility and high safety. When Juvelook is injected, it activates fibroblast function, promoting the production of collagen, hyaluronic acid, elastin, and other components, making it easier to address various skin concerns.
It works by increasing your own collagen production and activating the skin's regenerative capacity to achieve healthier skin, resulting in a natural-looking finish.
It is effective for improving pores, acne scars, and overall skin texture.

How Juvelook Works
While there are methods of administering Juvelook via laser, at our clinic, the doctor performs the injections by hand.
This allows us to finely adjust the injection sites and amounts to suit each individual's concerns, whether it is pores, acne scars, or other issues.
If you have not seen results with laser treatments, or if you are interested in learning more about this treatment, please feel free to consult with us.

Treatment Details
| Results | Treatment results can be noticed as early as 2 to 3 weeks after the first session. While Juvelook can produce noticeable effects after a single session, improving skin firmness, acne scars, and pore size typically requires multiple treatments, and we recommend a minimum of 3 sessions. When treatments are performed at 1-month intervals, collagen and elastin are gradually produced, making it easier to notice improvement in skin firmness and wrinkles, with more sustained results. |
| Treatment Time | Anesthetic cream application and waiting: approx. 30 minutes Under-eyes only: approx. 5 minutes Both cheeks: approx. 5-10 minutes Forehead: approx. 5 minutes Full face: 30 minutes |
| Anesthesia | Generally not required, but nitrous oxide sedation and anesthetic cream are available. |
| Pain | As small amounts are injected at multiple points, you may feel a slight stinging sensation. Anesthesia is recommended. |

If bruising occurs, the discoloration will gradually fade over approximately 2 weeks. From the following day, you may cover the area with makeup as needed. If you have an important event coming up, we recommend scheduling your visit at least 2 weeks in advance in case bruising occurs. |
